Without servicing and treatment, corrosion debris will accumulate in the boiler and central heating system causing increasing limescale deposits, reducing heat transfer from the radiator heat source to the surrounding air. This can increase your fuel bill by up to a third annually.

Frequent venting of Radiators

When the top of a radiator is cold during heating operation, either air or hydrogen is to blame for this. Hydrogen gas builds up as a by-product of electrolytic corrosion and is flammable (so due caution is required).
